Our History
Capital City Shag Club was established in 2008 with the help of the Charter members vision of preserving the Shag dance and making friendships and memories to last a lifetime.

Our History
We are a social dance club whose mission is to promote fellowship and harmony among its members; to preserve shag dancing and beach music; and to introduce the South Carolina State Dance, the Shag, to juniors and others through social events, charitable events and workshops.

Where We Dance
Capital City Shag Club normally dances on Thursdays at the Lexington VFW Post 8738 starting at 6:30PM. We also host the Shag Extravaganza, DJ Rumble and four parties during the year to support local charities.
